Wow, we are getting bigger!

Well, Charlie has been so busy with doing all kinds of new things that he hasn't had much time for his blog. He is busy crawling all over the house, pulling himself up to standing and walking along the furniture. He also went for his first picnic yesterday, and danced for the first time! (see cutest video ever below) He is saying "Mama" and "Dada", and yells along with music. He is a little freaked out by the texture of grass, but did pick his first blade of grass last week in our little garden! We are sure there will be much grass picking in his future, maybe at little league games and such. His favorite places to be in the house are under Mommy's feet in the kitchen, or under the living room end table.

Charlie will turn eight months old next week, which is hard for Mom and Dad to believe. It's also hard for Mom and Dad to understand how one tiny little person could make their world such a beautiful, joy-filled place, and how they could love someone so very much!

Four Months Old!

Well, after four months of life, Charlie is still going. He is happy and healthy, trying to sit up and roll over, and eating more than ever!

Here he is:

New Post

Alright everyone, settle down. Things have been a little crazy for the Andrews with new jobs and the demands of the upcoming holidays. (Don't forget, Charlie's favorite lesser feast day for St. Nicholas is December 6! Get your wooden shoes ready.)

Anyway, Charlie is doing very well for himself and he wants everyone to know that he is very happy, healthy, and gassy. At this point he is talking quite a bit and is rolling over. He really loves this song called "Toe-Knee-Chest-Nut Knows I love you" and has a growing group of friends.

Here are some photos.

11 Days Old

Charlie wanted me to post again and let you all know how he is doing. He is doing really well, gaining good weight. His doctor said that he is the "strongest baby" that he has ever seen.

Some notable firsts: First Smile, First Laugh, First Roll on Side, and First piece of Mail thanks to the Social Security Administration!

Here are some photos:

Photos for All!

I know we have a lot of friends and family across the country so Charley decided to start his own blog to shamelessly promote cuteness, inter-cultural mutual understanding, and what he called "a more productive Christmas," whatever that means.

I was born on September 24, 2007 at around 9:45 P.M. My mom was in labor for 15 hours.

Here I am relatively shocked at the cold, bright, and economically disparate world having been out of the womb for a good 6 seconds.

Here are some of the people I was named after:

My Great-Grandfather Carl
Bl. Emperor Karl I of Austria
St. Charles Barromeo
Pope John Paul II (Born Karol)

And my dad's hero Dietrich von Hildebrand (pictured here)

After labor, we went to our recovery room.
